  Great food - great service. Family of 4 for breakfast and they are very child friendly providing coloring to keep the kids occupied. Would recommend!

  I have never been treated so badly or embarrassed at a restaurant like this before! Basically waited an hour and no food arrived! I would rate this place 0 if the review would let me. Booked a table for 4 for a family meal. It all started fine with being seated and drinks order and food order taken swiftly. What then happened was other people coming in, getting their food orders while my family just waited and waited. I got two children under 5 and after 40 minutes of watching other people make progress I asked what was going on and was told the food would take 5-10 minutes. This passed with nothing and the table next to my family got their food after arriving 20 minutes after us! The waitress then gave us some free drinks which was nice but then came back and said there had been a ticket issue ( nonsense she lost our order as it's paper based) and had to take out order again with the promise the children will eat for free. We waited for what was over an hour and no sign of food. The children were hungry and getting upset watching others get their food so i had no choice but to get up and indicate to the waitress that this was unfair and was going to go. We clearly did not pay for the drinks. My eldest was in tears but luckily McDonald's cheered her up. This was such a bad experience that I hope no one else suffers with this and you all avoid this place!

  Charnallies is a fantastic place. my family and friends favourite meeting and eating experience. The cocktails hit the spot. The food and service are second to none. can honesty say never had a bad meal. staff always helpful, smiley and chatty. would love them to put the garlic pasta back on the menu.

  My brother had his birthday party here and everything was perfect. The food was excellent, the portions were more than ample, and the staff were very welcoming, friendly, polite and attentive. Prices reasonable too. I have to say that their fish & chips knock spots off anywhere else !!
